Colds and Flu

These are in fact two different illnesses. The common cold is an inflammation of mucous membranes caused by a number of viruses. Influenza is an acute viral infection of the respiratory tract.

Coughing

Coughing is a reflex action of the throat to rid itself of any built up mucus or phlegm.

Laryngitis

Laryngitis is inflammation of the larynx, which can cause pain and loss of, or change in, the voice.

Tonsillitis
